Pedro Herrera
Managing Partner
Pedro founded Tucher Capital in 2014. He has over 25+ years of experience in banking and in the international capital markets with a strong focus on investments in emerging markets. Pedro’s career includes senior investment banking and capital market roles at Prudential Securities, UBS, and HSBC, among other global financial institutions. His extensive experience encompasses relationship management, equity/fixed income research, mergers & acquisitions, equity/debt capital markets, investor relations advisory, and capital raising.
For over eight years Pedro was head of Latin America Food and Agribusiness Equity Research at HSBC, covering companies based in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and the US, and working with global institutional investors and asset managers throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and the US.
Pedro holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, an MS from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the University of New Orleans.

Mr. Antonio Prato
Antonio is Partner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fission Lab, SAC. Antonio has significant senior corporate management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in both Europe and Latin America. He has also held senior management roles at Bristol Meyer Squibb, Novartis, Sandoz, among other major global pharma companies. Antonio was former President of the International Pharmaceutical Companies Association (ALAFARPE) and former President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) of Peru. Antonio is a Member of the Board of several companies in the healthcare, retail and technology sectors (Fission Lab, Fission Latam, Barm Health Group, BiConnect Retail, BiConnect Accessories, and Mercania.
Antonio holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Engineering University of Peru and has postgraduate studies at INSEAD (France) and INSEAD (Switzerland), the United Kingdom and the United States.
Mr. Bernard P. Cooney III
Bernie Cooney is a Senior Partner at Flagship Pioneering focusing on capital formation at both the fund and portfolio levels. Working closely with the relevant Flagship partners, Bernie works with growth companies to help optimize their equity raises, beginning with Series B financings, and extending to and beyond their IPOs. Most recently, Bernie was Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets Group at UBS Investment Bank. Bernie held several leadership positions at UBS where he was responsible for equity origination in multiple sectors and rebuilding UBS’s capital markets risk business. Prior to his time in equity capital markets, Bernie held a variety of roles in the institutional securities businesses at UBS and Morgan Stanley, focused on the healthcare sector.
Bernie holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Management.
Mr. Christopher Tiscornia
Christopher Tiscornia is the CEO of TD Cowen’s Westminster Research Associates (WRA), an industry leading investment research and commission management provider. Chris is responsible for managing Westminster’s day-to-day business activities and overseeing Westminster’s business development efforts as well as managing the sales team, which works with approximately 700 institutional investor clients. Chris has been instrumental in growing its broker network to over 260 executing brokers and in establishing Westminster as a leader in the management of CSAs and CCAs. Chris has also been a key contributor to the company’s several mergers, acquisitions, and positioning of the company. Prior to joining Westminster in 1996, Chris served as the personal assistant to U.S. Senator Bill Bradley.
Chris holds an MBA from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business and a BA from Rutgers University. He is Series 7, 24 and 63 registered.
Mr. Steven Weirich
Mr. Weirich is Executive Vice President of the Modular Division at Cornerstone, the leading security contractor, manufacturer and supplier in the world. Steve pioneered prefabricated precast modular concrete technologies applied to the penitentiary industry and to low-income housing. For over 30 years, Steve has led award-winning globally recognized construction firms quickly and consistently delivering high quality solutions. Under Steve’s leadership, his previous initiatives have: (1) Two-time recipient of the AGC Marvin M. Black Award, Excellence in Partnering, (2) National and Regional DBIA award winner for Public Projects over $15M, (3) Listed consecutively in Top 600 Specialty Contractors in the US by Engineering News Record, (4) Won Precast Concrete Institute (PCI) Design Award for Innovation in Sustainability, (5) Numerous features in correctional publications highlighting successful business methods and international global reach. Steve is a long-time member of Vistage, the world’s leading CEO peer organization, and served on the board of directors of a prominent Pennsylvania hospital.
Mr. Weirich holds a degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and did post-graduate work at Villanova University.
Mr. Charles Salem Hallab
Charles is President and CEO of the U.S.-Saudi Business Council and Founder and Principal at Barrington Global. Charles is also a Senior Strategic Advisor at the Mayer Brown and Al Akeel & Partners law firms. He brings over a quarter century of experience successfully advising clients on a wide range of high-impact and high-value cross-border matters – from mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures to major projects, investments and disputes, from key crises and compliance issues to international regulations, reorganizations and other initiatives. He regularly advises on multiple aspects of expanding, contracting or operating internationally, including Compliance, ESG, Employment, Finance, IP and Tax. Charles has led key practices, groups and initiatives at two of the largest and most prominent law firms in the world (Baker McKenzie and Mayer Brown), including Corporate & Securities, Joint Venture & Strategic Alliance, Middle East and Climate Change & Sustainability Transactions. Most recently, Charles chaired both the Middle East Practice and the International Joint Venture Practice at Mayer Brown.
Charles holds a Law Degree from Georgetown University Law School, an MBA from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and a BS from George Washington University.
Mr. Wilfredo Trigo
Wilfredo is the local representative and Partner for Peru at Tucher Capital. He has over 22 years of experience in banking and finance. Throughout his career he has held senior roles at leading financial institutions such as the Inter-American Bank of Finance, Intertítulos and Interbank, among others. His professional experience includes residential and commercial real estate focused on social housing, secondary and luxury homes, having participated in over 40 real estate projects in Peru. In addition, he has experience with syndicated lending, capital markets, bond/debt issuance, investor relations and capital raising. Wilfredo has held prominent roles at the Financial Institutions Committee of the Association of Real Estate Developers of Peru (AdiPerú) and at the Leasing and Trust Committee of the Association of Banks of Peru (Asbanc). He is a past President of the Alumni Board of Directors at the IE Business School in Peru.
Wilfredo holds a Law degree from the University of Lima, Peru and an MBA from the IE Business School, with a specialization in finance.
